Certified on-demand DEI Strategist Program

Module 1: An overview of developing a DEI Strategy

In this introductory module, we clearly define what a DEI strategy is. You will learn about the key principles to develop a long-term DEI strategy and be guided through an effective and practical approach to design your strategy and action plan.

Module 4: Effective Activities to Improve Diversity in the Workplace

In this module, you learn about the most effective interventions and activities that have been shown, through rigorous research, to advance diversity in workplaces. We will use these to translate your DEI strategy into a comprehensive and effective action plan.

Module 2: Understanding

You learn how to identify opportunities and challenges to improve DEI in your workplace by analysing different sources of quantitative and qualitative data. The analysis determines the specific areas your DEI strategy will focus on.

Module 5: Effective Activities to improve Inclusion in the workplace

Building on Module 4, we move on to focus on the evidence-based DEI activities that are proven to improve inclusion and equity in workplaces. This also covers ways to mitigate bias in existing policies and processes, such as performance management.

Module 3: A Framework for designing a DEI Strategy

We introduce you to our recommended strategy framework, the Logic Model, which you will use to create your strategy. You will learn how to establish a clear relationship between your intended long-term DEI vision and the action steps needed to deliver it.

Module 6: Operationalising your DEI Strategy

In the final module, you learn how to finalise your DEI Strategy by setting attainable targets, agreeing on timelines, and defining roles and responsibilities. Finally, you learn how to communicate your DEI Strategy competently and confidently to your internal stakeholders, to gain buy-in and traction.

Helen is an international expert in Diversity & Inclusion and a seasoned speaker and panellist on gender diversity in the workplace. She has designed and led a wide range of diversity and inclusion solutions for multinational organisations across Asia, Europe and North America.

 

In addition to her role at INCLUDE Consulting, she is the founder of Lean in Network, Singapore, and the Executive Consultant to INSEAD’s Gender Initiative.

Helen has a background in strategy, marketing and sustainable business. She started her career with Unilever, where she spent 12 years, before co-founding and running a successful global marketing consultancy that was sold to WPP in 2014. She founded INCLUDE Consulting in 2019.

Edwin Profile

Director

Edwin Seah is a Director with INCLUDE Consulting who has 10+ years of experience in talent management and recruitment across APAC and the Middle East.

 

In his current role, Edwin works with clients to advance their skills and knowledge in the area of Diversity and Inclusion by designing innovative training strategies and programmes.

Prior to joining INCLUDE Consulting, Edwin was a Senior Recruiter at Deliveroo and Microsoft, where he was a key contributor across talent management, recruitment and learning & development functions.

 

In addition, Edwin is on the leadership team of Lean In Singapore, a volunteer-led organisation with over 3,900 members that encourage women to build peer-to-peer support networks.

 

Edwin has a background in marketing and graduated from Singapore Management University and is ACLP certified facilitator.

Angel Kilian Profile

Director

Angel specialises in designing and implementing successful DEI strategies across multiple pillars of diversity, reaching the Asia-Pacific market and beyond.

Before joining INCLUDE Consulting, Angel led talent development, recruitment and L&D teams in companies such as WeWork, PageUp and Spencer-Ogden. Her broad experience across various people functions gives her the ability to truly understand business needs and help implement evidence-based solutions to deliver business impact.

As an advocate of DEI, she contributes her thought leadership on various platforms and has been recognised twice as Linkedin’s “Top Voice” for Gender Equity and Company Cultures. She is also a guest blogger, an active speaker on panel discussions, and a trained Coach by the ICF Coaching Federation.

Gao Ding Profile

Senior Consultant

Gao Ding is an experienced Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practitioner with over five years of experience in designing, implementing and project managing a wide range of initiatives. He has been working across diversity dimensions such as LGBT, gender, employee engagement and disability inclusion to encourage behavioural and organisational change.

Before joining INCLUDE Consulting, he played a key role in shaping DEI strategies and international programs for organisations such as The University of Melbourne, Conciliation Resources Australia, and Weber Shandwick Shanghai.

He has a keen eye for research and will be starting his Masters at the National University of Singapore, where he will be researching the impacts of section 377a on inclusion and exclusion within homosexual communities in Singapore.

Ding is fluent in English and Mandarin. After spending three years working and studying in Australia, he currently lives between Singapore and China.

Mitali holds a degree in Psychology, which has fueled her passion for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. She firmly believes in building a culture that fosters an enjoyable and positive work environment for all employees, driving success and growth for the organisation.

 

Her expertise in workplace management, combined with her cultural sensitivity and passion for inclusivity, ensures that her clients receive tailored solutions that drive results and foster employee satisfaction.

 

Mitali is also an expert facilitator on DEI topics and she is PMP certified.
